To all of you who contributed to the success of the week long audio book tour this past month, I am truly so appreciative! March 16-22, launched the first one (around the world) in the series of Heaven Heals books/audio books. The event, hosted by Loving the Book, tracked the views, reaches, shares, entries into contests, & clicks on the buy links from many countries, including the US, UK & Ireland, Canada, India, Russia, Australia, China, Indonesia, Europe: Ukraine, France, Germany, Italy & more. There were 15 other book web-or-blog sites that posted the audio book event, too, and Loving the Book estimated those sites most likely had somewhat similar results with regards to views, reaches, shares, entries, & clicks. They use a universal link so that each country can connect with their local Amazon to obtain a copy of the audio book with their own currencies. Loving the Book was able to estimate that the count for the giveaways on their site, alone, was roughly 800 entries. This came from people sharing, joining my social media sites, and spreading the word about the audio book.
Not bad for a small fish, such as I!
So, I am extremely grateful for the support from everyone and for the exposure the audio book received. I believe its message of God's love for everyone, regardless of race, creed, nationality, religion, background, or circumstances, is a timeless one and especially needed in the very divisive times, in which we live. Acts 10:34 (KJV) states, "Then Peter said... I perceive that God is no respector of persons. But in every nation, he that... worketh righteousness, is accepted with him."
Through the Grace of God, His plan includes a heavenly reward for everyone, with the greatest reward of all being a return, with our loved ones, to him in his everlasting kingdom. He explains it this way, in John 14:2-3 (KJV): "In my Father's house are many mansions... I go there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also."
It has been a most unusual month of quarantines and shutdowns.
So, while the audio book tour included many weeks of planning and preparation, how amazing it was that it launched at a time when much of the world was stuck indoors and finding their only connection to others was online. I am so thankful this message of love was able to reach so many throughout the world. I hope there will continue to be lots of energy around the book/audio book, both online and on main street.
Audible (Amazon's audio book platform) offers free audio books with a 30-day trial, meaning if one tries the service for 30-days, two books are free to download. Audio books are hot items these days because they can be enjoyed while driving, waiting for appointments, resting eyes from computers, relaxing, all the while, feeling productive and enriched.
