Christmas already?!
Well, it sure seems like this year has flown by! It's only December 9, but I already feel the month is getting away from me. I promised I would do a little Sunday sing-a-long but I almost didn't make it. I'm still working out the logistics but next Sunday will be here soon! I wanted to get the month rolling along with Christmas music so, I hope you enjoy and, please, sing along with this seasonal favorite!

My favorite memories:
Gathering around the piano, with the Christmas tree lights glowing, everyone singing carols, & trying to harmonize (sometimes badly) are among my favorite Christmas memories. There were always lots of laughs, good times, beautiful music, and the spirit of Christmas swelled in hearts and soared on wings! This is the time of year to enjoy treasured moments and experiences with friends and family because it reminds us of the things in life that are most important. Speaking from my own perspective, these memorable occasions live on and bring smiles to a rainy day and comfort the soul when loved ones are no longer with us. This little reminder in a Facebook post can apply to everyone who is important to us, so add to the list all those significant in you life!
The Reason for the Season
And, of course, the most significant aspect of Christmas is the birth of the Baby Jesus. He is not only the Reason for the Season, He is the reason for our whole lives. It is such a miracle to be alive, learning and growing, laughing and loving, & giving and receiving gifts of everlasting worth. "For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; a light to lighten the Gentiles and the glory of thy people Israel," Luke 30-32 (KJV).
